RAF Halton

Stanton Consulting have designed and specified an 80kW Air Source system for use on the base. This is one of the first instances of the use of renewable energy sources within the MoD. We were also instrumental in guiding the base with regards to available subsidies relating to the use of Air Source Heat Pumps.

Following successful training Stanton Consulting are pleased to announce that they are now fully accredited by Dimplex for the design and specification of Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps.

CONSULTANCY GETS JUST REWARD FOR HIGH STANDARDS

An innovative Staffordshire engineering consultancy believes the award of an industry accreditation has justified their commitment to professional service.

Stanton Engineering Consultants have received the ISO9001:2000 standard for demonstrating their efficiency in dealing with the flow of customer documentation, maintaining effective internal communication channels, and for their excellent company infrastructure.

The Stoke-on-Trent company believes the accreditation, awarded by Quality Management Systems (QMS) according to criteria set down by the British Standards Institute, will enable them to bring in business from different sectors.

Managing Director Ben Stanton said:
“The accreditation is indicative of our company philosophy, and it is only awarded to firms who offer a professional service, with less than 5% of businesses in the UK having accreditation.
“For instance, the QMS audit looks at how well documentation is managed within the company, such as how they deal with the design process from concept through to completion – as well as such things as the procurement process and staff training.
“Some sectors, for example the rail industry, will only deal with firms with this accreditation, so we are now in a stronger position when pitching for that business.”

Stanton Engineering is a broad-based consultancy offering services related to electrical and mechanical engineering.

They deal with a range of industries including manufacturing and construction, and have clients around the country, such as MITIE Engineering Group, who are a nationwide M&E provider and the RHM group.
