The Thomas Deacon Academy is to become one of the UK’s flagship educational establishments when it opens its doors to new students in September 2007. The world-class facility, will be an independent school specialising in science and maths. The innovative scheme, which will cost around £45m, is the biggest school investment in the country and the only Academy in the UK incorporating three schools into one.
